Linda Landig on the Catwalk

For those who are not familiar with Linda Landig, all it takes is one look at her spectacular jewelry designs to know that you are in the presence of someone who loves to create. Create she does, with lots of colors and has a great fondness for handmade artisan beads.

Here is an example of her love of the unique.

She selected a patterned piece of Japanese Washi paper as her focal point in this wonderful necklace filled with Swarovski crystals and handwired iolite briolettes. Handmade lampwork beads are perfectly paired with the pendant.

Her flair for design and knack for complimentary gems and stones combine to create pieces of jewelry that are wearable art. Her diligent search for interesting handmade pieces to add to her creations make Linda’s jewelry a very personal purchase. You are not just buying a wonderful piece of jewelry, but you are getting an opportunity to glimpse into the heart and soul of the artist that had the vision to see the finished piece.

These lampwork beads are a perfect example of her love of lampwork. According to a great interview on Linda in The Beads of Clay blog, Linda loved lampwork beads enough to try her hand at the torch.

Here is another wonderful lampwork bead set in a gorgeous combination of vintage turquoise glass and orange faceted beads for accent. A sterling silver clasp finishes off the piece. She playfully named this “Poolside Necklace” and it simply says fun in the sun.

Linda’s wonderful jewelry has gained popularity from both online and in person.

Catwalk boutique has had the great fortune to snag Linda as a jewelry artist showcased in their boutique and gallery. Catwalk is located in Tacoma and you can read more about the gallery in this article from The Tacoma Weekly.

Please take the time to read the great reviews and interviews on Linda Landig and take the time to stop by and tell her congrats.
